Timberline received Federal Aviation Administration Parts Manufacturer Approval (FAA-PMA) of the Purge Fuel Collector System for Sikorsky UH-60 commercial helicopters

Timberline Helicopters, - Timberline Aerospace LLC, an affiliate of Timberline Helicopters Inc, has announced Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Parts Manufacturer Approval (FAA-PMA) of the Purge Fuel Collector System for Sikorsky UH-60 helicopters. Installation is via an approved model list supplemental type certificate (STC) including UH-60A models held by nine different TC holders. Kits are now available to order with introductory pricing. The system meets U.S. Forest Service (USFS) call-when-needed and exclusive use contract requirements, and prevents engine shutdown purge fuel from being released into the environment. Also available by STC and FAA-PMA is a locking fuel cap system approved for Bell 205, 206, 407, 212, 412, Airbus AS350, and MD 500 series helicopters. Currently there are many more modifications and upgrades in development and undergoing FAA certification.
